Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU Travel Position

Location: Lewiston, Maine
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
Weekly Hours: 36 (includes 3 weekends)

Unit & Patient Care Information

Unit: Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Floor Y4
Trauma Level: Level III
Patient Ratios: 1:1 to 1:3 depending on acuity
Equipment: Ceiling lifts, Hoyer lifts, sit-to-stand lifts, safe-patient handling equipment, Baxter Sigma Spectrum IV Pumps
Electronic Health Records (EHR): Omnicell, Cerner, SBAR
Patient Population: Includes geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients
Call Requirements: None
Float Requirements: Must be flexible to float to other units such as CICU, Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, and Emergency Room

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Maine
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Required Certifications: ACLS, NIHSS
Must have neuro and trauma experience

Sepsis
Shock
Multi-organ failure
Respiratory failure
Trauma and neuro/brain injuries
Complicated surgeries
Stroke
Encephalopathy

Additional Information

Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs
No prior travel experience explicitly required for this position
