Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry

Work Schedule

• Variable shifts
• Typically 3 shifts of 12 hours each per week
• Approximately 36 hours per week

Unit Details

• Acute Care unit with 24 beds
• Patient-to-nurse ratio: 6 to 7 patients per nurse
• No unit secretaries, health unit coordinators (HUC), or extra techs when no tech is available
• Standard Medical/Surgical equipment
• Documentation system: Cerner
• Floating is rare
• Patient population: Geriatric and swing bed patients in an affluent community with concierge-level service expectations

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in North Carolina
• Telemetry experience with a minimum of 2 years, including experience within the last year
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Experience working with geriatric patients
• Experience in inpatient and rehabilitation settings
