36 hours per week
Flexibility for day/evening hours as needed

Unit Information

Operating Room with 14 ORs
Staff includes charge nurses, RNs, surgical technologists (ST), patient care technicians (PCTs), anesthesia techs (ATs), and trauma team members
Patient ratio approximately 1:1 (estimated, not guaranteed)
Electronic Medical Record system: Meditech

Typical Procedures

Neurosurgery and transplants
Orthopedic and spine surgeries

Required Qualifications

Valid Surgical Technician license in Colorado
Surgical Technician with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
Certified Surgical Technician (CST) or NBSTA certification
DORA certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
De-escalation skills in a healthcare setting

Preferred Qualifications

Level I trauma experience
Prior experience with Meditech EMR
