Registered Nurse (ICU) - Travel Position

Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 8 weeks

Job Overview

Deliver clinical education content to nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members.
Provide unit-based rounding, reinforcement, and just-in-time coaching.
Validate staff understanding and competency as required.
Document education completion accurately and timely.
Identify barriers to education completion and escalate concerns.
Support education efforts during night shifts, weekends, and for hard-to-reach colleagues.
Assist with focused re-education based on audit findings or practice observations.
Collaborate with educators and leadership to support clinical education initiatives.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
ACLS certification
BLS certification
Pharmacology: RN Assessment
USP 800 Hazardous Drug Risk
