Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Kansas
Preoperative experience within the last year
1 year of preoperative experience
BLS
ACLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred

Some pre-op experience
Meditech experience

Unit Details

Pre-Op Holding / ASU
9 pre-op beds and 5 Phase 2 recovery beds
Patient ratio: 1:3
On-call required with a 30-minute response time
2 ten-hour on-call shifts every 8 weeks

Common Patient Types / Procedures

Phase 2 recovery for urology, GYN, and other SDS patients
Pre-op for surgery, endoscopy, cath lab, EP, CT, outpatient infusions, outpatient EKGs, blocks, and blood transfusions
