Required Qualifications

  • Valid LMSW - Licensed Master Social Worker license in California
  • LMSW - Licensed Master Social Worker (2 years of experience)
  • LMSW - Licensed Master Social Worker experience within the last year
  • BLS
  • Master's degree
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker experience
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist experience
  • Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of CBT and DBT skills
  • Experience running psychotherapy groups or skills groups

Unit Details

  • Mission Oaks location
  • 2nd floor
  • 8 staff members
  • Day shift: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Staffing includes 1 RN and 6 outpatient therapists with LMFT or LCSW licenses
  • Patient flow: 5 groups per day, 10 patients per group

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate psychotherapy and psych skills groups
  • Document groups in Meditech
  • Complete psychosocial assessments
  • Update treatment plans
  • Participate in treatment team meetings
  • Assist with discharge planning
  • Perform safety assessments as needed

  • Business casual dress code
  • Jeans are not allowed
