RN - Emergency Dept

Role Overview

• Travel RN in the Emergency Dept. (780) in Boerne, TX.
• Assignment length: 13 weeks.
• Shift: 7A-7:30P / 7P-7:30A.
• Guaranteed hours: 36 per week.
• Call: No.
• Weekend coverage: rotating weekends or 4 weekend shifts per schedule; holidays per unit policy.
• Floating: required, as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Texas
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• ACLS
• BLS
• Crisis Prevention Intervention Training (CPI)
• PALS
• NIHSS

Preferred Qualifications

• Meditech experience preferred

Unit Details

• Documentation system: Meditech
• Unit procedures include urgent care, stroke/STEMI, and pediatric care.
• Unit has 15 treatment rooms, including two trauma/cardiac care rooms, five emergency/treatment rooms, four fast-track non-urgent treatment rooms, and four observation beds.
