Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
Experience working with Level 2 Trauma patients

Preferred

Previous HCA experience

Unit Details

Typical patient ratio: 4:1
Up to 7:1 for ED behavioral holds
Techs support cardiac monitoring and the internal processing area
Uses Baxter pumps and GE monitors
Cerner documentation system
Navy scrubs required

Scheduling and Float

Cannot commit to block scheduling
Schedule must meet department needs
No floating outside the ED
