Main Tower
32 beds
Patient ratio: 2:1
36 hours per week
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Tennessee
CCU - Coronary Care (2 years of experience)
CCU - Coronary Care experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience working with Cardiac patients
PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring
IABP
Impella

Preferred

CRRT preferred

Unit Details

Student nurse externs available as techs
Unit secretary available Monday through Friday, 0730-1530
Equipment includes Hill-Rom beds and Phillips telemetry monitors
Documentation system: Meditech
Float as needed to units depending on census
4-week schedules with 3-4 weekend shifts required per scheduling period

Clinical Focus

PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring
IABP
Impella
Central line insertion
Swan insertion
Intubations
Cardiogenic shock program with 12 beds allotted to cardiogenic shock patients
