Pharmacist

Overview

• Travel role in Muskogee, Oklahoma
• 13-week contract
• 40 hours per week
• 5x8-hour shifts, including weekends

Required Qualifications

• Valid Pharmacist license in Oklahoma
• Pharmacist (1 year of experience)
• Pharmacist experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association

Role Details

• Works in collaboration with the Director of Pharmacy
• Compounds and dispenses medications and pharmaceutical supplies
• Interprets medication orders and prepares pharmaceutical products according to pharmacy practice standards
• Supervises technical support staff
• Supports patient care for Adult and Geriatric populations
• Must be able to enter a minimum of 40 orders per four-hour shift
• Maintains aseptic technique and pharmacy security, including controlled substances
• Reviews patient profiles for safe drug therapy and helps prevent drug interactions and adverse reactions
• Participates in performance improvement, clinical/quality management, education, and drug information activities
