Job Details

• Work setting: Behavioral Health unit with 33 beds
• Patient population: Adult and geriatric behavioral health patients
• Patient ratio: 1 nurse to 10 patients
• Weekly hours: 36 hours
• Shift schedule: 12-hour shifts every other weekend
• Call requirements: None
• Float requirements: Between geriatric and adult behavioral health units
• Electronic Health Record system: Paragon

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
• Minimum 1 year of Behavioral Health nursing experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) or Health Worker Certification (HWC), and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NVCI)
