Work Schedule

Shift: Days
Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
Weekend hours: Every 4th weekend
Occasional float requirements

Unit and Patient Population

Unit: Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum (LDRP)
Number of beds: 8
Patient population: Childbearing age women with occasional gynecological surgery
Patient ratios follow AWHONN guidelines

Required Certifications and Licenses

Registered Nurse (RN) license
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
AWHONN (Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses)
BLS (Basic Life Support)
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid RN license in Arizona
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor, Delivery, Recovery & Postpartum (LDRP) nursing
LDRP experience within the last year
Nursery experience
ACLS certification
AWHONN certification
BLS certification
NRP certification

Electronic Health Record: OBTV/Medhost EMR

Facility is a Joint Commission Accredited community hospital with 171 beds and Level 3 Trauma designation
Certified Chest Pain Center
