Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Louisiana
Telemetry experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ACLS
BLS

Preferred Qualifications

Prioritization skills
Time management skills

Unit Details

Trauma/ortho/med-surg unit
36 beds
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 6:1
Floating may be required to 6A, 3A, 3South, and 4South

Responsibilities / Typical Procedures

Wound vac changes
Wound care
IV insertions
Indwelling Foley catheter insertion

Schedule

Every other weekend
On call when census is low

Work Environment

Team-oriented role
Ceil blue scrubs required
Telemetry equipment used on the unit
