Job Description

• Work schedule options:

  • Four 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
  • Or five 8-hour shifts (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
• Occasional weekend day shifts and on-call (5:00 PM – 7:00 AM) required
• Unit: Echo Lab
• Patient population: Adult
• Typical patient volume: Approximately 8-9 echocardiograms per day
• Equipment used: Philips Ultrasound, GE Clinical Works
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system: Sunrise (Allscripts)
• Staff on unit: 12

Typical Procedures

• Echocardiogram (Echo)
• Stress Echo
• Transesophageal Echo
• Contrast Echo
• Echo with Bubble Studies

Required Qualifications

• Valid Echo Technologist license in New Hampshire
• Minimum 2 years of Echo Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)
• Echo Tech Certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
