Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR) Travel Position

Location: Wichita, Kansas
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 hours (Day shift only, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM)

Unit Information

Unit: Endoscopy / Operating Room
Beds: 4 ORs and 1 Endoscopy room
Staff: 14 total
Patient Ratios: Typically 1:1 or 1:2 (not guaranteed)
EMR System: Meditech / CPN
Shift Type: Day shift only
Call Requirements:
- 3 weekday call shifts per month (5 PM - 6 AM)
- One weekend call per month (Friday 5 PM - Monday 6 AM)

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Kansas
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience within the last year
Endoscopy experience
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
De-escalation skills in a healthcare setting

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Robotics
Urology experience
Orthopedics experience
