Overview

Location: Ithaca, New York
Employment type: LTA
Shift: 18:45 - 07:15
Contract length: 13 weeks

Role

Registered Nurse in the Maternal Child Health department providing direct patient care.
Labor and Delivery experience required.
Postpartum experience preferred.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New York
Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NRP or STABLE
AWHONN/Fetal Heart Monitoring
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications

Postpartum experience preferred.

Float / Scheduling

Floating is outside Maternal Child Health, including Labor and Delivery, L&D OR/PACU, Post Partum, and NICU.
Floating is expected on a rotational basis to other hospital departments.
Scheduling is based on unit needs.
No weekend maximum.
Candidates with specific day-of-the-week scheduling requirements will not be considered.
Block scheduling is not guaranteed, but may be considered if requested.
