Required Qualifications
- Valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker license in Maryland
- Minimum 2 years of Licensed Clinical Social Worker experience, including experience within the last year
- Case management experience
Job Description
- Social Worker role providing clinical social services
Required Documentation and Compliance
- Criminal background check within 90 days covering all locations lived/worked/schooled in past 7 years
- Education verification for highest degree required by position
- Drug screen within 90 days of start (excluding marijuana)
- Annual physical exam confirming ability to work without accommodations and free from communicable disease
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year; annual TB questionnaire required
- Immunization documentation or titers for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Hepatitis B
- Flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season
- Valid driver's license if driving is an essential job function
- Two positive supervisory references supporting at least 2 years of experience within the last 3 years
- Complete 7 years of work history with no gaps, including education, employment, license, and contact information
- Skills checklist and competency exams as required, updated annually
Certifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (AHA or ARC)
Additional Requirements
- I9 and E-Verify attestation required upon hire
- Facility-specific orientation modules must be completed prior to start
- Photo for badge with specific guidelines (clear, centered, no glare, solid background)
- Annual safety manual acknowledgement
- Compliance with ongoing background and federal exclusion screenings (EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG)
This position offers a structured weekday schedule with no weekend or float duties, suitable for social workers with at least 2 years of experience and Maryland licensure. First-time travel social workers with strong experience are encouraged to apply.
