Job Opportunity: Home Health Registered Nurse

Location: Harrison, Arkansas
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Day shift, 5x8 hours)
• Hours per Week: 40 hours
• Call Requirements:

  • 1 weekend call per month
  • 1 to 2 call shifts weekly
• Floating: Required as needed within scope of practice
• Start Date: ASAP
• EMR System: Meditech
• Locals Allowed: No
• Radius Restriction: 50 miles
• First Time Travelers: Accepted

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arkansas
• Minimum 1 year of Home Health nursing experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Compliance and Documentation Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID must be carried during hours of service
• Proof of E-Verify or attestation required
• Criminal background check covering the last 7 years, updated annually
• Education verification required
• Drug screening: 9-panel drug test including marijuana, within 2 weeks of start
• Physical exam attesting ability to meet physical demands, updated annually
• Annual fit mask test required
• Immunizations and/or titers required for:

  • Measles (Rubeola)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B
  • Varicella
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start, updated annually
• Seasonal flu vaccination or facility-specific declination required during flu season (Oct 1 – Mar 31); unvaccinated candidates must wear a mask while on shift
• COVID-19 vaccine or facility-approved declination required

Additional Requirements

• Proof of 2 clinical references or hospital evaluations
• Completion of employment application/resume
• Skills checklist updated annually for applicable units
• Competency exams as applicable by profession
• Orientation safety manual acknowledgement (HIPAA compliance)

Notes

• Prior travel experience is not required for this position.
• Floating and call duties are part of the role and must be performed as needed.
• Hospice experience is preferred but not mandatory.
