Job Opportunity: Ultrasound Tech - Vascular

Location

Roanoke, Virginia

Employment Type

Travel/Contract

Contract Length

13 weeks

Work Schedule

Day shift, 5 days a week (Monday to Friday), 8-hour shifts between 6:30 AM and 5:00 PM
Rotating call and rotating weekends with staff
Must be available to work one holiday per 13-week contract (rotated with staff)

Job Description

Perform vascular sonography studies independently across three sites
Responsible for writing preliminary reports on each study, reviewed by a vascular MD
Must be able to operate with minimal supervision and "hit the ground running"

Requirements/Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Vascular Sonographer, with recent experience within the last year
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification from ARDMS or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) certification from CCI in Vascular Sonography
Experience with Epic electronic health record system
