Experience Requirements

Minimum Specialty Experience: 1 year
Prior travel experience: Not required
Epic experience within the last 6 months preferred

Certifications Required

BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) as applicable
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) as applicable
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) as applicable
CHEMO (Chemotherapy) as applicable
TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) as applicable
Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB) as applicable
NIH Stroke Certification as applicable
CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) as applicable
State License verification required
NURSYS Verification required

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

I9 form
Driver’s License/State ID

7-year Background Check (updated annually) including SS trace, county searches, sex offender, education verification
Education Verification (highest level)
Fingerprinting (for New Mexico placements only)
Photo for badge
Physical Exam within 12 months of start
Fit Mask Test within 1 year of start (annual renewal required)
Adult TDAP vaccine within 10 years
Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
TB Questionnaire if positive results (annual renewal)
Immunizations or titers for:
- Rubeola (Measles)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B
- Varicella
Negative 10 Panel Drug Screen within 90 days of start
Seasonal Flu Vaccination or approved exemption (required during flu season)
COVID-19 Vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption (declinations not accepted)

Competency Requirements

Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (80% score or meet Angoff score)
Color Blind Testing (online acceptable)
Competency Exam (minimum 80% or meet Angoff score)
Annual Core Testing (for subcontractors)
