Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Olympia, Washington
- Night shift: 3x12, 19:00–07:30
- Start: ASAP
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Unit/assignment: PCU/Step down Float RN
- Patient population may include ER boarded patients, tele, med surg, and other inpatient needs
- Float role supporting staffing needs across the institution
- Nurse-to-patient ratio varies from 1:4 to 1:6 depending on unit acuity
- May include charge responsibilities on two very small units
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- 1 year of PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience in Charge roles
- Experience working in the United States as a clinician
- NURSYS verification required for all RNs
- ACLS
- BLS
- NIH Stroke Certification
- IV Certification
- Competency Exam
- Skills Checklist for the applicable unit
- Minimum of 2 references covering 1 year of employment total within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
- Employment application including at least the last 5 years of employment
- Background check
- Washington State Patrol search within 90 days of start
- Education verification
- Drug screen within 12 months of start
- Fit mask clearance
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Tdap within 10 years
- Negative TB or chest X-ray
- Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, varicella, COVID, and flu documentation or declination as applicable
- RespSafety clearance
