Role Overview
- Dietitian position within Dietary Services
- Adult and geriatric patient population
- Average daily census: approximately 10–12 patients
- Travel/Contract assignment
- Day shift: 5x8 hours, 8:00–16:30
- 40 hours per week
- Contract length: 14 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RDN - Registered Dietitian Nutritionist license in Maryland
- RDN - Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (1 year of experience)
- RDN - Registered Dietitian Nutritionist experience within the last year
- Experience with Cerner
Preferred Qualifications
- Short-term acute care experience
- Teaching hospital experience
- Community hospital experience
- LTAC experience
- Level I or Level II trauma experience
Additional Notes
- First-time travelers are accepted
- Weekend coverage is negotiable
- Local candidates are accepted
- No float requirement is indicated
- No block scheduling option is indicated
- Up to 2 pre-approved time-off requests are permitted per contract
- 14 days or less of time off is auto-approved
- Every other winter and summer holiday are required, with no time off approved
- No time off is approved on hard-to-fill days such as Easter, Mother’s Day, and Father’s Day
- Purple scrubs are required
