Overview

Location: Columbia, South Carolina
Schedule: Night shift, 3x12 hours
Weekly hours: 36
Contract length: 13 weeks
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Patient ratio: 2:1

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in South Carolina
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIHSS
CVICU (1 year of experience)
CVICU experience within the last year
1 year of recent experience in the unit
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
Experience with Epic
Experience managing advanced cardiac devices including LVAD, Impella, IABP, and TVP
Experience with hemodynamic monitoring
Experience with CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy)
Experience with invasive lines management
Experience with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
Experience with post-cardiac surgery patient care (not directly from OR)
Experience with pre- and post-cardiac catheterization and intervention procedures
Experience with sheath removal procedures

Additional Notes

This role involves cardiac ICU patients and some step-down overflow
Required testing and onboarding items are part of the pre-start process
