Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

Overview

• Travel/contract RN position in Honesdale, Pennsylvania
• 13-week assignment
• 36 hours per week
• Day shifts: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 11:00 AM–11:00 PM
• No block scheduling
• Every other weekend and holiday required
• ASAP start

Clinical focus

• Labor and delivery and mother/baby experience required
• Must be able to work in both labor and delivery and mom/baby
• No call requirements

Required qualifications

• Valid RN license in Pennsylvania
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
• EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring

• Medication test/pharmacology competency exam
• Competency exam
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Tetanus/diphtheria/Tdap within 10 years
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
• Rubeola, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella immunity/documentation
• Drug screen
• Flu season vaccination or declination
• COVID vaccination card or declination
• 2 professional references within 3 years of start
