Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Attleboro, Massachusetts
• 13-week night contract
• 14-bed ICU unit
• 4x12 schedule, 18:45–7:15
• 48 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Massachusetts
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• Experience with telemetry
• Interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Management of dysrhythmias
• Experience with pulmonary artery (PA) catheters
• Experience with continuous IV sedation

Preferred

• CERNER experience

Unit Details

• ICU patient population includes medical patients such as alcohol withdrawal, acute respiratory distress, COPD, GI bleed, drug overdose, and COVID
• Occasional surgical cases including VATS
• ICU patient population also includes post-surgical carotids, VATS, and CEAs
• Typical acuity includes ARDS, ventilated patients, pressors, a-lines, and chest tubes
• Ratio is 1:1 or 1:2
• ICU serves as the code team and rapid response team
• Intensivists are present during the day
• NPs are present on night shift
