Operating Room RN

Overview

• Travel/contract role in Charleston, South Carolina
• Night shift: 3x12s, 6:30 PM–7:00 AM
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Local candidates accepted within 60 miles
• First-time travelers are not accepted

Schedule and work setting

• Weekend work is required
• On-call is not required
• Floating may be needed within scope to meet facility needs
• Block scheduling is at the manager’s discretion

Required qualifications

• Valid RN license in South Carolina
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
• OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
• 2 or more completed travel assignments
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Experience working with Pediatric patients

Preferred experience

• Pediatric surgery experience
• Women’s surgery experience

Additional considerations

• Travelers may be called off up to 10 hours per 2-week period
• All requested time off must be submitted with the application
• During hurricane season, staff may be assigned to emergency response teams
• A radiation badge is required for this role
• Radiation exposure attestation is required before start
• Candidates cannot start without the radiation badge
