Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Temp Position

Location: Renton, Washington
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days

Job Overview

• Assist physical therapists in treating patients of all ages, from newborns to end-of-life care.
• Help patients stretch and exercise targeted muscle groups.
• Collaborate directly with physical therapists to modify and implement treatment plans.
• Communicate with patients' families to recommend effective at-home care techniques.
• Assist patients in moving from wheelchairs or walkers to therapy areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the physical therapy environment.
• Perform administrative duties such as scheduling appointments and filing paperwork.
• Teach patients techniques including balance training.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license in Washington.
• Minimum of 1 year of Physical Therapy Assistant experience within the last year.
• Experience in a Long Term Care setting.
