• Every other weekend
• 36 hours per week
• Rotating shifts may be required when requested

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Unit Overview

• 65-bed emergency department
• Pod-based unit with separate pediatric pod and separate acute mental health area
• Average census: 230 visits per day
• Patient ratio: 1:4
• Floating required

Required Qualifications

• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Valid RN license in Massachusetts
• ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or CHSF or Military
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or CHSF or Military
• PALS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or CHSF or Military
• Ability to complete general ED nursing tasks including assessment, documentation, IVs, phlebotomy, EKG, cardiac monitoring, point-of-care testing, splinting, critical thinking, and patient education

Preferred Qualifications

• TNCC certification
• NRP certification
