Role: MICU RN
Location: Salem, Massachusetts
Employment type: LTA
Schedule: 36 hours, nights and every other weekend
Shift: 19:00 - 07:30
Contract length: 13 weeks

Unit Details

Unit name: Level III Trauma Center
Unit size: 20-bed Medical/Surgical ICU
Floating: Required, mostly to Medical/Surgical units

Required Qualifications

Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Valid RN license in Massachusetts
MICU - Medical Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
2+ years of MICU - Medical Intensive Care Unit experience
Med Surg experience
Must be able to read tele strips
Telemetry competency
AHA BLS
AHA ACLS

Patient Population

Adult patients with diagnoses including Substance Abuse/Overdose, severe Psychiatric conditions, DKA, Sepsis, GI bleed, Respiratory Failure, Cardiac Arrest, Renal Failure, and Cardiogenic Shock

Additional Notes

RN-to-patient ratio: 1:2 or 1:1 with high acuity; 1:4 or 1:5 when floated
Free on-site parking
