Manage OB triage, outpatient testing, antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and nursery care.
No circulating or scrubbing in the OR.
Use OBIX for fetal surveillance and EPIC for electronic health records (experience with these systems highly preferred).
Provide nursing care within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing.
Teach patients and their support persons.
Document patient care in the medical record.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate overall patient care.

Minimum 2 years labor and delivery experience with current fetal heart monitoring.
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association.
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.

Resume and skills checklist (within 1 year) required for application.
Certifications and Oregon nursing license do not need to be active at time of submission but candidate must be willing to obtain them.
16 hours of unbillable overtime paid at 1.25x rate.
Client may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week contract.

Comprehensive medical services including pediatrics, childbirth and obstetrics, gynecology, oncology, diabetes and kidney disease treatment, geriatric medicine, emergency medicine, and various specialty services.
Onsite Nurse Practitioner available in Employee Health Department for employees and their dependents.

Note: Prior travel experience is not specified as a requirement.
