Sonographer (Echo, Vascular) - Temp Position

Job Description

• Explain procedures, prepare patients, and ensure patient comfort during ultrasound scans.
• Operate ultrasound machines to capture images of the heart’s chambers, valves, and blood vessels.
• Perform routine transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) and complex tests such as stress or transesophageal (TEE) echocardiograms.
• Take precise measurements, analyze data, and prepare preliminary reports for physicians.
• Clean, maintain, and adjust ultrasound equipment.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of sonographer experience specifically in echo and vascular imaging.
• Valid sonographer license/certification appropriate for this specialty (implied by job discipline).

Additional Information

• Orientation for allied health travelers starts on Tuesdays.
• On-call pay applies with a minimum of 1 hour paid at a fixed rate.
• Local candidates within 50 miles may be considered with adjusted travel rate.
• No increased pay rate for overtime, holidays, or call-back hours.
• Non-compete policy: Former direct employees of the facility are ineligible for agency placement until 6 months after direct employment ends.
