Role Overview

Travel/Contract RN / MS in Saint Louis, Missouri
Start date: 3-4 weeks out per compliance tier
Shift: Night (4x12 Hours) 19:00-7:30
Can sign for 36 or 48 hours per week
Ratios: 1:5
First-time travelers: Yes
Weekend requirement: every other
Floating: may float within scope to meet facility needs
Pending license accepted: Yes
Local candidates: not accepted within 75-mile radius
RTO restriction: no more than 7 days per 13-week contract
Guaranteed hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Missouri
Med Surg / Telemetry (1 year of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience in a Teaching Hospital setting
Experience with drain care
Experience with free flap monitoring
Experience with tracheostomy care
Experience with total laryngectomy care
Experience with feeding tubes
Phlebotomy skills
IV insertion skills
Experience with central line management
Experience with wound care

Preferred Qualifications

1+ year of experience with Level I/Teaching Facility experience

Unit / Clinical Setting

ENT, Plastic Surgery Unit
Cuffed/Cuffless Tracheostomies, Total Laryngectomies, Carotid Blow Out Precautions, and Free Flap Patients
Clinical care includes drains, monitoring flaps post-op, tracheostomy/total laryngectomy care, tube feeding, phlebotomy, IV access, and Central Line Management
