Overview

Travel/Contract RN position in Salem, Oregon
13 weeks
Start date: ASAP
Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:30
1:4–6 patient ratio
First-timers accepted
Locals accepted
Pending license accepted
Weekend requirement: every other weekend, not GTE
Clinician will float if needed, including to West Valley Hospital
RTO over 2 weeks needs approval

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Oregon
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
1 year of experience in Med Surg / Telemetry
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Interpretation of dysrhythmias
Management of dysrhythmias
Non-invasive airway management
Peripheral line care/management
Orthopedics experience
Experience with Epic

Unit Information

Ortho or Med Surg RN assignment
6S Ortho unit
46-bed Orthopedic and Joint Replacement Center of Excellence
Located on the sixth floor of Building B
Care includes surgical and non-surgical musculoskeletal conditions, fractures, traumatic injuries, degenerative disease, congenital disorders, infection, total joint replacements, and other musculoskeletal surgeries
Nurses in this unit are not required to have orthopedic experience for consideration
