Overview

Travel/Contract RN role in Waterbury, Connecticut
Float pool assignment for the Medsurg units
Adults and Geriatrics patient age groups
Night shift: 19:00–07:30
12-hour shifts, with 36 or 48 hours available per week
Every other weekend coverage

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Connecticut
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Med Surg / Telemetry (1 year of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Blood Product Administration
Experience with PICC lines
Peripheral Line Care/Management
IV insertion skills

Candidates within 75 miles are considered local and must be noted upon submission
Locals are considered at a rate decrease of $10 less
Medication Administration competency exam is required on the first day for RNs who administer medication, with a minimum passing score of 90%
Background checks and facility-specific onboarding documents are required before start
Healthstream modules must be completed prior to HDD
