Cath Lab Tech - Travel/Contract

Location: Augusta, Georgia
Contract Length: 12 weeks

Job Summary

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
• Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics
• Work Setting: Cath Lab (Diagnostic and Interventional) with 3 rooms
• Shift: Day shift, 4 days per week, 10 hours per day (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
• Floating: Yes, within facility and scope of practice, including all Cath Lab areas
• Call Requirements: STEMI call on weekends and weekdays
• Weekend Schedule: Every other weekend
• Holidays: Required to work major holidays depending on number falling within assignment (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year’s Eve/Day)
• Return to Office (RTO): Maximum 7 days

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
• Recent Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)

• Electronic Health Record System: Epic (Cupid)
• Other Systems: Pyxis, SBAR communication tool
• Scrub Color: Provided by facility
• Orientation: Number of non-billable orientation hours depends on contract length (e.g., 8 hours for 8-week assignment)
• Compliance: Full compliance with all requirements is mandatory to start on time; delays in compliance may result in a 2-week pushback due to bi-weekly orientation scheduling
• Clinical Screening: Candidates will undergo clinical screening to determine fit before final manager approval
• Locals accepted at the same rate
