Job Opportunity: Therapy/Rehabilitation - Travel/Contract

Location: Pullman, Washington
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Shift Schedule: Friday through Tuesday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Call Required: No
Floating: Required within hospital and scope of practice

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 1 year
• Certifications:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required (ARC, AHA, or US Department of Defense)
  • Advanced certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, EFM, STABLE) may be required depending on unit/specialty
  • State License (Primary Source Verification) required
  • NURSYS Verification required for RNs
  • National Tech Certification required for some specialties (e.g., RRT)
• Background Checks:

  • 7-year criminal background check within one year of start, updated annually
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM check within 30 days of start and updated for renewals
  • HHS/OIG check within 30 days of start and updated for renewals
  • Washington State Patrol (WSP/WATCH) search within 12 months of start
• Health Requirements:

  • Physical exam within 12 months of start, attesting ability to meet physical demands
  • Tdap vaccine required
  • Negative TB test (PPD, Quantiferon Gold, or T-spot) within 12 months
  • TB Questionnaire updated annually
  • Immunizations or titers for Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Hepatitis B
  • 9-panel drug screen within last 12 months (instant acceptable)
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption required annually (by October 31)
• Competency Exams: Required as applicable
• Additional Training for Washington Multi-State Licensed Nurses:

  • Suicide Prevention Training (6 hours) prior to working in WA with a compact license
  • Demographic Attestation prior to assignment start

Facility Policies & Documentation

• Professional photo for badge required prior to arrival
• Review and sign:

  • Personal Appearance Policy (scrubs of any professional design/color allowed; scrubs provided for surgical staff)
  • Code of Conduct Acknowledgement
  • HIPAA Confidentiality Agreement
  • Employee Computer/IT Use Agreement
• Proof of 2 clinical references (hospital evaluations accepted)
• Complete employment application/resume
• Skills checklist updated annually for applicable units

This position offers a structured schedule with no call requirements and allows for floating within the hospital. It is suitable for candidates with at least one year of experience and the required certifications, ready to start immediately for a 13-week contract.
