Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Location: Burlington, Vermont
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 32 weeks
Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each; 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

Provide respiratory care in Adult ICU & Emergency Department, Pediatric General Units, and Pediatric ICU (PICU).
Weekend shifts as needed; no on-call required.
Schedule flexibility is essential.
Must work 2 out of 4 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.
Teaching hospital experience is required.
Epic electronic medical record (EMR) experience within the past 2 years is mandatory.
All specialties worked must be clearly documented on each employment entry.
No block schedules allowed.
Reliable personal or rental vehicle transportation is strongly recommended due to lack of public transportation.

Required Qualifications

Valid Respiratory Care Practitioner license in Vermont
Minimum of 1 year of Respiratory Care Practitioner experience within the last year
Experience in an inpatient setting
Experience with Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system
American Heart Association (AHA) certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
