Job Details

• Schedule: Monday-Friday with rotating call coverage

  • Weekday call: 4 PM - 11 PM (stand-by/call starts after shift ends, e.g., shift 9 AM-5:30 PM, call starts 5:31 PM)
  • Weekend/Holiday call: 7 AM - 11 PM (stand-by/call)
  • Weekend availability is required

• On-call Requirement: Yes, weekday and weekend/holiday call coverage as above

Required Certifications & Licenses

• BLS (AHA or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation)
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
• CPDH Certificate required for all RTs working in California
• ACLS, PALS, NRP, CPI, NIH Stroke Certification, IV Certification, and others as applicable (verify per clinical track)
• State License verification and NURSYS verification for RNs/LPNs as applicable

Required Background Checks & Documentation

• Background check within 45 days of start covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years; must be updated annually
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start, updated monthly
• Education Verification (3rd party) required for all candidates
• State-specific searches as applicable (e.g., Washington WSP/WATCH, OBRA Registry for CNAs)
• Employment application covering last 5 years (7 years for APN/Subcontractors)
• Minimum 2 references covering 1 year of employment in relevant specialty (6 months for CNAs)
• Skills checklists and competency exams as applicable

Health & Safety Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO
• Fit mask testing (N95 or approved equivalent), updated annually; onsite fit testing may be required
• Immunizations and titers:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years or declination accepted)
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months, updated annually
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
  • Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination
  • Varicella vaccination or positive titer
• Drug screening: 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start (no instant tests)
• Seasonal vaccinations: Flu and COVID-19 vaccines or declinations required as per season and policy
• Respirator safety clearance (RespSafety) required for travel candidates, updated annually

Training & Competency Modules

• Completion of Providence Health and Services WorkRamp modules prior to start, including:

  • Core modules by profession and region
  • Specialty-specific modules for ER, L&D, ICU, etc. as applicable
  • Annual regulatory requirements
  • Epic training modules (for SoCal and other specified regions)
• Modules assigned and tracked via Aya's LMS platform, WorkRamp

Additional Notes

• Must comply with Providence floating policy and may be required to float to other nearby Providence facilities
• Weekend and holiday call coverage is mandatory
• Pending licenses are not accepted; all licenses must be current and valid at time of submission
• Locals are accepted for this travel/contract position

This position is ideal for a Radiology/Cardiology technologist with at least 1 year of experience, who is comfortable with call responsibilities including weekends and holidays, and who meets all certification, licensing, and health requirements.
