Job Opportunity: CT Technologist (Radiology / Cardiology)

Job Details

• Schedule: Weekends only (Friday - Sunday), 3 shifts per weekend
• Shift Hours: 1800 - 0630 (overnight, 12-hour shifts)
• Start Dates: Multiple start dates available (mid to late December)
• Work Environment:

  • Working alone after midnight
  • Caring for Emergency Department (ED) patients and inpatients only (no scheduled outpatients during this shift)

Required Qualifications

• Washington Radiological Technologist Certification (mandatory)
• ARRT CT certification
• Minimum 1 year of CT experience
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

Required Certifications & Competencies

• BLS (AHA; RQI not accepted)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - check unit description if applicable
• Other certifications may be required depending on specialty or unit (e.g., PALS, NRP, TNCC)
• Competency exams with minimum passing scores (e.g., Core Parts I-III, OSHA, Medication/Pharmacology)
• IV Therapy certification (for applicable roles)

Health & Compliance Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
• Social Security number verification (no physical card required)
• Background check covering all locations lived/worked/schooled in past 7 years, including SSN trace and sex offender searches
• Physical exam within 1 year of start date
• Immunizations and titers:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (highly preferred or declination)
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year (QGold, T-SPOT, or 2 PPDs)
  • Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella, Varicella titers or vaccinations with boosters if needed
  • Hepatitis B titer, proof of series, or declination
• Drug screening: 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
• Flu vaccine or facility-specific declination required year-round (deadline for documentation: November 19)
• COVID-19 vaccine is optional; exemptions available for immunocompromised candidates

Additional Requirements

• References: Minimum two satisfactory references from previous employers within the last year, including clinical competency and reliability evaluations (manager, supervisor, or charge RN accepted)
• State-specific background checks: Washington State Patrol (WSP/WATCH) and Washington Courts search required
• Facility-specific documents to review and sign:

  • Appearance and Dress Code
  • Fraud, Waste, and Abuse (FWA) Training (annual requirement)
• Completion of assigned facility modules post-orientation (monitored and mandatory)
• Maximum of 5 days Return to Office (RTO) considered
