Float required within scope of practice

Required Qualifications

Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Valid RN license in Kentucky
Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
Experience with Meditech
Driver's License
Current RN experience: 2+ years
NIH Stroke Certification
Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam
Competency Exam within 1 year prior to start date, renewed annually
Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam within 1 year of start, updated annually
Core Part I
Core Part II
Core Part III
2 references within 1 year of start date; one may be a Charge RN, and the second must be from a supervisor
7-year work history verification
Flu vaccine required; declinations not accepted
Driver’s license required in submission packet

State License - Copy of Professional License

Orientation is bi-weekly
Start date is the start date needed
