Travel/Contract assignment in Aurora, Colorado

Schedule

3x12s rotating shifts: 0700-1900 and 1900-0700
Various days of the week
Weekend requirement: yes, per unit needs

Assignment Details

36-bed Medical PCU
High-acuity, fast-paced unit
Nurse-to-patient ratios: 1:3 or 1:4 on days and nights
Ratios may flex based on staffing and unit needs
Floating is required, including to sister facilities as needed
Charting system: EPIC

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Colorado
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or RQI
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or RQI
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Scopes
Biopsies
Moderate sedation
Cardioversion
Urgent dialysis completed by the dialysis RN
Drips: insulin, diltiazem, amiodarone, nicardipine, heparin, lasix, dobutamine
