Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Nashville, Tennessee
• Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:00
• 36 hours per week
• 14-week contract
• This position is on the locked incarcerated unit; travelers must be comfortable with the prison population
• Float required to other MS/Tele units, including forensics, inpatient units, and potentially ICU
• Accepts first-time travelers
• Locals accepted at the same rate

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Tennessee
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Med Surg / Telemetry (1 year of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• CPI or Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB)
• NIHSS
• SANE / Forensic experience
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience

Holiday Expectations

• For contracts beginning in September, RTO will not be approved for Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, or New Year’s Day
• Contract nurses are expected to work 3 of these 6 holidays based on assigned holiday group
• September-start contracts should extend into the new year to ensure holiday coverage
