Job Overview
- Travel/contract RN role in Seattle, Washington
- 13-week assignment
- Day shift: 4x10 hours, 11:30–22:00
- Float required to Pre-Op and PACU
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- PreOp / PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (2 years of experience)
- PreOp / PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience
Role Details
- Pre-op care includes both inpatient and outpatient cases
- Phase II recovery includes discharge home
- May support pre-op for cath lab vascular procedures and endoscopy
- Pediatric exposure is limited; travelers are not assigned to pediatrics
- Clinical areas include general surgery, OB-GYN, plastics, thoracic, transplant, vascular, ENT, eyes, robotic, post-op, and breathing treatments/CPAP/BiPAP
Additional Notes
- Candidates from other Providence facilities may be eligible for a travel contract if separated for at least 3 months
- Active compact license is honored at Swedish facilities
