Role Overview

ICU Float Pool RN
Travel/Contract assignment
Night shift: 4x12 hours, 19:00–7:00
48 hours per week
13-week contract
First-timers accepted
Every other weekend required
Guaranteed hours
May float within scope to meet facility needs, including 5 ICU specialties and step-down units
Must float to step-down as needed, including a pulmonary step-down unit with 1:3 ratios
Travelers will float between 2 campuses

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Connecticut
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Critical Care Float (2 years of experience)
Critical Care Float experience within the last year
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIHSS

Additional Notes

On-call not required
Block scheduling not accommodated
RTO greater than 7 days requires approval
Parking is $125/month
Shuttle provided if needed between campuses
