Cath Lab Tech

Job Overview

Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
Location: Charleston, West Virginia
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Day, 3x12 hours, 8:30 AM–8:30 PM
Contract length: 13 weeks

Schedule

Must be willing to stay until all cases are completed
Call is required
Flexible scheduling is required
Weekend coverage includes one weekend every 4–5 weeks
2 weekday night call shifts and weekend call every 4–5 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in West Virginia
Cath Lab Technologist (1 year of experience)
Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
1 year minimum experience in Cath Lab with competency in diagnostic and intervention procedures including structural cardiology
Must be able to work in a very busy lab
Must have an active West Virginia license to start
Pending state license may be submitted
Must be ARRT (R)
Cannot be RCIS or RCES

Required Certifications

BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association

Unit / Procedure Experience

Adult cardiology and structural cardiology
Procedures include LHC, RHC, PCI, CTO, Impella, IABP, ECMO, TPM, shock wave, IVUS, Pneumbra, TAVR, and Watchman

Additional Notes

First-time travelers are not accepted
No floating to sister facilities
100-mile radius rule applies
Scrub color is provided
Parking is free for travelers
