Overview
- Location: San Diego, California
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Variable days/nights, 12-hour shifts
- Start date: December 7 only
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- Pediatrics CVICU (2 years of experience)
- Pediatrics CVICU experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Heart transplant experience
- Experience with ventilators
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
Schedule and Assignment Details
- Must be willing to work holidays
- Maximum of 6 days of requested time off
- Must work 3 shifts per week
- Weekend requirement: 6 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
- Floating within scope is required
- Block scheduling is not available
- Local candidates are not accepted
- Pending license may be accepted if an ETA from licensing is available
- First-time travelers may be accepted if they have strong experience
- On-call is not required
