CVPICU Travel/Contract RN Job

Overview

Location: San Diego, California
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Variable days/nights, 12-hour shifts
Start date: December 7 only
Employment type: Travel/Contract

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
Pediatrics CVICU (2 years of experience)
Pediatrics CVICU experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Heart transplant experience
Experience with ventilators
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association

Schedule and Assignment Details

Must be willing to work holidays
Maximum of 6 days of requested time off
Must work 3 shifts per week
Weekend requirement: 6 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
Floating within scope is required
Block scheduling is not available
Local candidates are not accepted
Pending license may be accepted if an ETA from licensing is available
First-time travelers may be accepted if they have strong experience
On-call is not required
