Job Overview
- Location: Charleston, South Carolina
- Employment Type: Travel/Contract
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Day shift, 5x8 hours
- Start Times: Vary between 6:30 AM and 10:00 AM
- End Times: Vary between 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM
- Weekend Requirement: May work Saturdays if needed
- On-Call: Not required
- Floating: No floating to other service lines or sister facilities
- First-Timers: Accepted
Required Qualifications
- Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in South Carolina
- Nuclear Medicine Technologist (1 year of experience)
- Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NMTCB(N) or ARRT (N)
- NMTCB(CT) or ARRT (R) or ARRT (CT)
- Siemens equipment/scanner experience
Preferred Experience
- Siemens equipment/scanner experience
- Level I and II trauma experience preferred
Schedule Notes
- No holidays
- Block scheduling may be considered with prior approval, but is not guaranteed
- Local candidates are accepted on a case-by-case basis within a 60-mile radius
Compliance / Pre-Start Requirements
- 2 clinical references
- Complete application/resume
- Annual background check
- Education verification
- Physical exam
- Fit test within 90 days of start
- Tdap within 10 years or declination
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 90 days of start
- 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start
- COVID vaccination documentation or declination
- Flu vaccination documentation or approved exemption during flu season
- Hepatitis B documentation
- Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity documentation
- Annual TB questionnaire
- Color blind testing
- Competency exam
- Radiation exposure attestation
- Prior radiation badge process must be completed before start
Additional Notes
- Epic is used for charting
- Parking is available for nights and weekends with a one-time $20 pass fee
- Agency must supply the radiation badge
- Hurricane season may involve emergency response assignments
