Overview

Travel/Contract role in Aurora, Colorado
13-week assignment
36 hours per week
Day shift: 3x12 hours, 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
Unit: 41 ORs, Level 1 Trauma Center
Ratio: 1:1

Schedule / Float / Call

Shift starts may occasionally float to 8:45 AM and 10:45 AM
May occasionally float to nights, up to 3 shifts per contract
Weekend coverage as needed
On-call as needed, approximately 3 shifts per 8-week schedule period
May float to other UCH ORs

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Colorado
OR - Operating Room (3 years of experience)
OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience working with Level 1 Trauma or Level 2 Trauma patients
Experience with Epic

GU/GYN
Neuro
ENT
Plastic

Additional Notes

Guaranteed hours: No
RTO limit: 10 days maximum
RTO not allowed during these periods:
- September 2–12, 2026
- October 25–November 4, 2026
- November 22–December 2, 2026
- December 20, 2026–January 3, 2027
Candidates who completed a full year on assignment should not be rebooked for at least one year
