Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

Job Overview

Travel/contract role in Santa Rosa, California
Night shift: 3x12s, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
36 hours per week
On call as needed
No weekend requirement
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure issued by American Heart Association or American Academy of Pediatrics

Responsibilities

Provide professional nursing care for patients
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process
May supervise other nursing and support staff

Unit-specific skills checklist required
Employment application must include 7 years of work history with no gaps
