Cardiac/Telemetry Intermediate Care Unit RN

Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Saint Paul, Minnesota
• Night shift: 3x12, 19:00–07:30
• 13-week contract
• First-timers accepted
• Every other weekend required
• Locals not accepted within 100 miles
• Pending license accepted
• No on-call
• No block schedule accommodation

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Minnesota
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience with vasoactive IV drips
• Experience with BiPAP
• Experience with post-operative CABG, valve replacement, and thoracotomy care
• Experience with endotracheal intubation and insulin drips
• Experience with CPAP
• Experience with AVAPS
• Experience with Heated High Flow oxygen therapy
• Experience with Temporary Pacers

• Cardiac Intermediate Unit
• Post CV procedure patients, including post CABG, Valve Replacement, Watchman, TAVR, CHF
• DKA/HHS
• Thoracotomy
• Cardio-renal syndrome
• Respiratory Failure
• Arrhythmias
• Chest tubes
• BiPAP
• CPAP
• AVAPS
• Heated High Flow
• Temporary Pacers
